Ways to Give

How your gift helps

You can assist us by making a donation to one of the dimensions of priestly formation.

We treat every gift as a sacred trust. Your gift will help us to fulfill our task of forming men to be our future priests. St. Augustine’s Seminary charges approximately $35,000 (this fee does not cover the total cost of running the seminary) per year for forming a full-time seminarian.

“It is with the grace of God and the prayerful support of the people of God that we can fulfill the mission of the seminary. Through prayer, study, and community life, the Holy Spirit works in the seminarian’s life, preparing him to serve joyfully in his respective diocese.”

Fr. Edwin Gonsalves, Rector

“Formation for the priesthood is more than a full-time job: it is a 24/7 reality. It demands the total dedication of the candidate and his wholehearted openness to the formation offered at his seminary. The greatest grace of my life in these past 6 years at St Augustine’s Seminary has been precisely that: the chance to devote myself completely to the discernment of my vocation. That formation has borne abundant fruit in the deepening of my relationship with the Lord, the development of theological acumen, and training in pastoral charity, all of which are modelled by our formators. I am and remain grateful for the many donors whose generosity makes this grace possible for myself, my brother seminarians, and by God’s grace, for the whole church.”

Fr. Cole Powers

"After my family, St. Augustine's has had the greatest impact on my life, shaping me to become the man God has always wanted me to be. The formators have shown me how a priest can serve selflessly in everyday life, while my fellow seminarians have supported and accompanied me as true brothers.”

Fr. Michael El-Nachef
