“Remi M. St. Louis was the ‘Rock of Gibraltar’ of the Manalo family as she inspired us in supporting and promoting vocations. She was there to financially support the priests and seminarians whenever needed.”
Maria Luz Manalo
Maria Luz Manalo and her sisters are among the unsung heroes at St. Augustine’s Seminary. Maria, Evelyn, and Sophie Manalo have all decided to name St. Augustine’s Seminary as one of the beneficiaries in their Will as a means of helping support the Church long after they have been called home to our Lord. Maria says she is guided by the principle of “loving God always by being generous with your time, talent and treasure.”
“My name is Catherine von Zuben and having been educated from primary to graduate studies in the Archdiocese of Toronto Catholic school systems, I am truly grateful for the work of the Seminary which provides excellent opportunities for continued study and leadership courses. St. Augustine’s educates and prepares candidates for ordination to the priesthood and diaconate for this and other dioceses throughout the world. We are the Church and we need and will continue to need priests and deacons to work with us to promote our faith and peace/goodness in our world. I was motivated to purchase a life insurance policy some 20 years ago at the time of my retirement to be directed to St. Augustines’ in gratitude for their work.”
