Rector’s Cup 2024

Great weekend at St. Augustine's Seminary with prayer, fellowship, soccer and competition in sports for the Rector's Cup. We played soccer and basketball against St. Peter’s Seminary, RMMS, and St. Philip's Oratory.

Every year, St. Augustine's Seminary in Toronto and St. Peter's Seminary in London meet and have a friendly sports tournament over the Rector's Cup, a trophy awarded to whoever wins that given year. What started as a hockey game between the two seminaries opened up to other seminaries and involved other sports, with the focus being an opportunity for fun and comradery between men studying for the priesthood.

Did you hear? The Costello Classic is returning! On Friday, March 1st, young men from Peterborough Diocese will play a game of hockey with a team from St. Augustine's Seminary from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.

Join in the fun at the Warsaw Arena (93 Ford Street, Warsaw, ON, K0L 3A0) and cheer on the guys enjoying an evening of fun and hockey! Attendance is free, but free-will offerings are welcomed.
