Join us for Spirit & Life: Lenten Retreat - Encountering Suffering (An Invitation to Communion)!
Only human beings suffer and ask the question, “Why?” This Lenten Retreat will explore the Christian meaning of human suffering and how the cross of Christ forever unites suffering with Love. We will ponder the gift that comes from solidarity in suffering and discover anew the goodness of human life and love, even in the midst of challenges. Join us as we contemplate the Lord’s invitation to love and discover the power of His resurrection in our lives.
In-person attendance only: $50 Admission (Includes pastries, coffee and tea on arrival, as well as lunch. Mass, Confession, and Adoration will also be offered)
The Sisters of Life are a religious community of women who take a fourth vow to protect and enhance the sacredness of human life. Immersed in Eucharistic prayer within a vibrant community life, their missions include caring for vulnerable pregnant women and their unborn children; fostering a culture of life through evangelization; inviting those wounded by abortion into the healing mercy of Jesus; retreat works; spiritual accompaniment of college students; and upholding the beauty of marriage and family life. Sr. Joseph Mary Nazareth and Sr. Fiat Marie currently serve in the Toronto mission of the Sisters of Life and will lead us in this day of Lenten reflection.
