Dr. Ky Heinze is an Assistant Professor of Classical & Early Christian Studies at Our Lady Seat of Wisdom College. His area of expertise is Greek Christian and Neoplatonic thought in the second through the fourth centuries. His dissertation, entitled "Sacrifice to Demons in Porphyry and Origen", considers what these thinkers believed about the function of prayer and sacrifice. Dr. Heinze has presented papers on this topic at meetings of the North American Patristics Society, the Society of Biblical Literature, and the American Academy of Religion.
