Presentation Description: The Book of Ecclesiastes (or Qoheleth) presents us with some probing questions that goad us towards a deeper understanding of life. How do we reconcile Qoheleth’s observation that all is “vanity of vanities” with his insistence to make the most of God’s gifts while we still live?

In this workshop we will explore Qoheleth’s search for lasting joy and meaning in life, and put into conversation other books of God’s revelation, especially the Psalms and the Gospels.

Format: Lectures (live online), small discussion groups, Q&A
