AREA OF SPECIALIZATION

The Christology of St. Augustine and the Council of Chalcedon. The inner-trinitarian identity of Jesus Christ and his salvific mission. St. Augustine as one among several other Church Fathers and Writers who contributed theologically to the formulation of the decisive Christological definition of 451 AD. The Christology of the Council of Chalcedon.

BIOGRAPHY

After being trained partly in Nigeria (Enugu) and partly in Italy (Rome), Fr. Patrick Ezimora CCE was ordained a priest in 2011 for his young Religious Order, the Congregation of Christ the Emmanuel. Following his Doctorate in 2014, he ministered as Chaplain in the Sistine Chapel until mid-January 2018 when he was asked to move to Toronto Archdiocese to continue his priestly ministry as Associate Pastor. It was in the course of his pastoral assignment that Fr. Patrick was requested in 2019 to supply simultaneously as sessional lecturer for the Permanent Diaconate Program at St. Augustine’s Seminary in Toronto. In addition, Fr. Patrick is also serving as Spiritual Director to the Archdiocesan Padre Pio Prayer Group since 2019.
