Mass of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception

It is customary for new faculty members to declare a Profession of Faith and an Oath of Fidelity to the Church, and this is traditionally before the Archbishop during the Mass of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. Fr. Andrey Pukhaev made his Profession of Faith and Oath of Fidelity on December 8th.

All seven  Toronto Sisters of Life attended the Holy Eucharist, followed by supper as guests of the President & Rector, alongside members of the Board of Governors and external faculty members. Resident faculty and all seminarians from St Augustine's, including those living at Serra House, as well as faculty and seminarians from the Redemptoris Mater Missionary Seminary, were present for the event. After supper, His Grace led a colloquium for the Faculty and Seminarians of both seminaries.
