Msgr. Hans Feichtinger
Biography
Msgr. Feichtinger was ordained for the Diocese of Passau in 1998. After three year as assistant Pastor, he pursued further studies, obtaining an M.A. in Classics from Dalhousie University in Halifax NS and a Doctorate in Patristic Theology from the Augustinianum in Rome. Subsequently, he became an Official at the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. After his time at the Vatican, he completed studies and research for a Doctorate in Philosophy at the Jesuit Philosophy Faculty in Munich. More recently, he served as interim Catholic Chaplain at Carleton University at St Margaret Mary in Old Ottawa South. In Ottawa, he currently is adjunct professor within the faculty of theology at Saint Paul University and serves as Pastor of St George’s Parish and of St. Albertus Pfarrgemeinde.
