BIOGRAPHY
John Solheid is a native of Alexandria, MN, where he currently resides. After completing his bachelor’s degree in history from St. Cloud State University, he completed his graduate training in Theology at the Saint John’s School of Theology•Seminary earning a Master of Arts in Church History and a Master of Theology. He completed his doctoral training at the University of St. Michael’s College in the University of Toronto in 2020. He also earned a diploma in Greek Palaeography (2024) from the Lincoln College (Oxford) Summer School in Greek Palaeography. He holds memberships in the North American Patristics Society, the Canadian Society of Patristic Studies, and the American Society of Church History. When he is not reading Greek patristics, you can find him either at the hockey rink or on the golf course.
