Theology on Tap East: Debt, Taxes, Savings…God? What’s Happening with My Money?

Theology on Tap East invites all young adults (19-39)

Location: Willie Stouts Pub and Grill, 2175 Sheppard Ave. E., North York

Speaker: Dean Penafiel, Bursar at St. Augustine’s Seminary

Join Theology on Tap East for their event on being stewards of money.

Looking at the different financial challenges that a young adult faces, this evening will feature a talk on personal finances. It will highlight the benefits of having a financial plan that lays out all sources of income and then lists all expenses, including day-to-day living, entertainment, tithings, savings, debt, and interest payments. The presentation draws upon the personal experiences of the presenter who incurred student debt to fund undergraduate and professional education in addition to long-term loans to fund home renovations and vehicle purchases.
