BIOGRAPHY
Dcn Peter Lovrick was ordained to the Sacred Order of Deacons in 2002 after four years in formation at St Augustine Seminary. In addition to serving various parishes in the Archdiocese of Toronto, he has served as the Director of Diaconate Formation since 2010. He is the professor of Homiletics at the seminary teaching Introduction to the Homily, Advanced Homiletics, and the Homiletics Practicum. Dcn Lovrick has organized a yearly preaching event at the seminary since 2014. He is a frequent webinar presenter on Homiletics for St Bernardino, California, writer for various publications, and maintains a YouTube channel on preaching Better Catholic Preaching.
