BIOGRAPHY

Deacon David was ordained to the Sacred Order of Deacons in 2016 after five years of formation at St. Augustine Seminary. He and Elisabeth have enjoyed mentoring many Diaconate couples during the various stages of formation. 

Deacon David Quail has been married for over 43 years. He and Elisabeth raised their two daughters Jennifer and Lisa in Toronto and is the proud grandfather of Lilian and John David.

Deacon David enjoyed a long career at Sears Canada in Marketing and Buying and then an International Sourcing executive where he had the opportunity to travel the world. He currently owns and operates a print production and design business in North Toronto.

He is assigned to St. Edward the Confessor Parish in Toronto and treasures the opportunity to serve the parish in the liturgy and sacraments.

In July 2022, he commenced the role of Director of Diaconate Formation at St. Augustine Seminary and looks forward to sharing the blessings that come with the formation and ordination of Permanent Deacons for the Archdiocese of Toronto.
