BIOGRAPHY

Ms Mahy joined St. Augustine’s Seminary in 1999 as the ESL Tutor.  She has developed ESL support materials linked to the diverse writing needs of seminarians.  In addition, targeted pronunciation sessions have been designed to enhance the speaking skills of ESL/ESD seminarians.  As a professor, she currently teaches full-time at George Brown College where she has designed courses in World Religions, Monotheistic Religions, Medieval Literature and Critical Thinking. She has taught ESL Methodologies in the TESL program at George Brown and  has developed ESL courses specifically designed to support student learning in the Hospitality and  Nursing sectors.
